Crafted from beech wood, known for its mechanical strength and acoustic performances, this mouthpiece provides a smooth, finely-grained surface. Wooden mouthpieces like this offer a softer, more velvety tone compared to brass, while improving lip comfort. The wood’s natural warmth is further enhanced by a nourishing balm, which hydrates your lips during play. The mouthpiece’s finish is less slippery than plated brass, promoting better lip control, precision, and endurance.
To ensure durability, the entire mouthpiece is bathed in hot beeswax, sealing the wood from within. A surface balm is then applied for additional comfort.
Included with your mouthpiece is a balm tube made from beeswax and almond oil to maintain the mouthpiece’s wax finish, a transport pouch, and a care guide.
